The Department of Physiology holds many large and small scale research gatherings throughout the year.
Annual Research Retreat - The marquee research event for the entire department. This one day event include scientific talks, trainee presentations, collaborative activities, and a judged poster session with prizes for outstanding presenters.
Grants/Works in Progress - An ad hoc 1 hour talk given by those working on projects/grants who are seeking peer review from department faculty.
Supporting COllaborative REsearch (SCORE) - A monthly meeting for PGY Faculty to present on-going research that highlights expertise, techniques and/or resources such as murine models that may be of general interest and thereby lead to collaborations. Each meeting with consist of two 25 minute presentations, including Q&A. The overall purpose is to support our colleagues by providing feedback and to encourage collaborative research, turning PGY diversity into a strength.
